झारखंड के खूंटी जिले के जोजोबेडा–उलीहुरगं क्षेत्र में प्रस्तावित स्वर्ण खनन परियोजना ने आदिवासी गांवों में गहरी चिंता पैदा कर दी है। घने जंगलों, पहाड़ों और खुंटकट्टी भूमि से घिरे इस क्षेत्र में बिना ग्रामसभा की जानकारी के सर्वे किए गए। 14 गांव इस परियोजना के दायरे में हैं, जहाँ लोग विस्थापन, जंगल विनाश और आजीविका के संकट की आशंका जता रहे हैं। ग्रामीण ग्रामसभाओं के माध्यम से संगठित होकर अपने अधिकारों की रक्षा की तैयारी में हैं।
